BSV Chronicles: On the Horizon

As we journey into 2026 (full sails up!), we wanted to share what lies on the horizon for BSV—what has us on the edge of our seats, hands on the helm.
The end of Belize’s lobster season is around the corner, and as Valentine’s Day approaches, romance is in the air—and on the menu.

Our chefs are in their element, turning freshly-caught lobster into indulgent, sea-to-table creations that feel equal parts decadent and distinctly Belizean.

And for guests who want to take part in the adventure, our spearfishing captains love inviting you along on their hunting missions, so your “catch of the day” can go from reef to plate in the most unforgettable way possible.

Not one, but two brand-new 51-ft Fountaine Pajot Aura catamarans are joining the BSV fleet this year!
  • The Big LeBoatski arrives in March, featuring four queen guest cabins and accommodating up to eight guests.
  • Second Wind follows in May, offering five queen guest cabins for up to ten guests.
Here’s our favorite part: both yachts are owned by past BSV guests—proof that once you sail with us, you’re hooked.

The right land-and-sea pairing can take a great sailing trip and turn it into something truly unforgettable—and that’s exactly why our resort partnerships matter.

Unwind at Francis Ford Coppola’s Balinese-inspired Turtle Inn, escape to the cool pine forests at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge, or awake to the sights and sounds of nature in the 400-acre eco-preserve at The Lodge at Chaa Creek.

Each of our partners brings its own magic, and together they create Belize experiences that flow effortlessly from days at sea to jungle nights.

Belize’s reef is the reason we do what we do—so protecting it isn’t optional; it’s personal.

At BSV, conservation is woven into life at sea, not treated as an afterthought.

We’re entering our ninth year partnering with Oceana, supporting efforts to preserve the world’s largest living barrier reef and the ecosystems beyond it.

We’re also proud to be in our fourth year supporting Fragments of Hope, a Belize-based coral restoration organization. From transporting their teams by catamaran to remote sites to hosting them onboard, we’re honored to play a small part in their vital reef-regeneration work.

Because if we’re lucky enough to sail these waters, the least we can do is help protect them.

Stay in the loop by following us on Facebook and Instagram—and if you’re sailing with us soon, we’d love to see your moments tagged with #BelizeSailingVacations.

We wish you a wonderful year ahead and look forward to welcoming you back onboard.

Fair winds and following seas,
Cliff, Rach, and the BSV Team
