We have exciting news! For the first time ever, we are offering blue water, offshore instructional cruises to new country destinations, for ASA students or new cruisers looking to gain this invaluable experience. On these trips you will:
· Gain blue water, overnight sailing experiences
· Learn all about standing watch at sea
· Check in and out of foreign countries
· Experience the thrill of seeing land after crossing an ocean
All while under the watchful eye of experienced BSV captains and crew, with all the luxuries you would enjoy on an all-inclusive crewed charter. It is hard to get this kind of experience any other way, so if you have dreams of passage-making in your future, this trip is for you!
This experience is a round trip all-inclusive 10 night adventure to the Bay Islands of Honduras , including all gourmet meals, exotic cocktails, local beers & wine.
Itinerary Details:
Depart from and return to Old Belize Marina, Belize City
Day 1: Anchor inside the reef in Belize, snorkeling if time allows. Greetings, trip planning discussion, watch assignments.
Day 2: Venture outside the reef and anchor at one of the Belize Atolls, snorkel, make final preparations for offshore trip to Honduras
Day 3: Sail to Utila – approximately 24 hours at sea non-stop
Day 4: Check into Honduras, re-provision, optional snorkeling stops or excursions ashore in Utila
Day 5: Sail to Roatan, optional snorkeling stops or excursions ashore in Roatan
Day 6: Check out of Honduras in Roatan, sail to Guanaja and anchor at one of her deserted coves, snorkel, make final preparations for offshore trip to Belize
Day 7: Sail to Belize – approximately 24 hours at sea non-stop
Day 8: Check into Belize in Placencia, re-provision, excursions ashore
Day 9: Sail Belize Cayes, snorkeling stops and excursions ashore
Day 10: Sail Belize Cayes, snorkeling stops and excursions ashore
Day 11: Sail to Belize City, trip round up and departure
