Four years ago, avid sailor Trace Jurica and his partner Christopher Thesing chartered a trip with BSV as a research mission, intending to fulfill their dream of owning a catamaran. After several days of sailing, island-hopping, and exploring – not to mention plenty of good food, toasts, and lots of laughter with Cliff, Rachael, and head captain Ruben, they fell irrevocably in love with Belize, and there was no looking back. They acquired “Mary,” who joined the fleet for several years and home to them for numerous fabulous charters with family and friends.
Everyone became hooked after several sailing trips with dear friends Mark and Monica and Trace’s brother Shawn and wife Lezlee. After Mary departed to new pastures, the group acquired “Discover,” a 50 ft. 6-cabin Fountaine Pajot ‘Saba,’ their dreamboat.
Her epic proportions feature five queen cabins and a full cabin, each equipped with air-conditioning and ensuite facilities. She can accommodate nine guests comfortably, ten if children share the full room. The four distinct and separate social areas at the bow, aft cockpit, flybridge, and indoor salon provide endless dining, lounging, and socializing opportunities.
“Disco,” as she has come to be known affectionately, has been decked out with extra sparkly touches, complete with a fun party kit to toast the era (did someone say mimosa tower?). Sprinkled with BSV’s tasteful decor and a full complement of toys, she is the ultimate all-inclusive sailing party boat!
